Long-Term Courses
The long-term course is designed for students who wish to study Japanese intensively for 6 months or more. A student visa is required to enroll in this program. The course builds Japanese language skills progressively, from basic to advanced levels, equipping students with the abilities needed to achieve future goals such as university admission or employment. In addition to core language training, students can take elective courses and attend special lectures to deepen their specialized knowledge and improve practical conversational skills. Short-term Courses
ISI’s short-term courses offer intensive Japanese study for periods ranging from one week to three months. A student visa is not required for these programs. The curriculum is tailored to each student’s level and needs, from beginner to advanced. A key feature of the course is its focus on daily conversation and Japanese cultural experiences. Short-Term General Japanese
The short-term general Japanese Course is available for as little as two weeks and is designed for those coming to Japan on visas other than a student visa. The course provides systematic instruction in all four language skills—listening, reading, speaking, and writing—along with vocabulary and grammar. There are four enrollment periods each year: April, July, October, and January. Students who have already studied Japanese may join mid-term, but a level check is required in advance.
Short-Term Career Japanese
This program is ideal for those seeking employment or planning to start a business in Japan. It allows you to improve both your Japanese and business skills in a short period of time, with a focus on business communication, manners, and the correct use of honorific language. The course also includes business document writing, so a laptop is required. You will learn practical business Japanese step by step, from beginner to advanced levels.
Evening Course

ISI Japanese Language School offers a wide range of activities to help students deepen their understanding of Japanese culture and enjoy their learning experience.

Part-time Job Information
Part-time job information received by the school is posted on Campusmate-J as it becomes available.
For students who wish to receive support, the school also holds training sessions on resume writing and interview preparation.
Student Dormitories
This is ISI Japanese Language School’s most affordable accommodation option. A caretaker is always on-site or regularly patrols the dormitory, ensuring a safe living environment.
Commuting to school is convenient, with options ranging from a 10-minute walk to a 50-minute train ride.
Although the kitchen, bathroom, and toilet are shared and students are responsible for preparing their own meals, the dormitory is furnished with essential furniture and bedding, providing a comfortable living space.
Students can enjoy learning Japanese while interacting with peers in an international environment.

Long-Term Stay Accommodation Fee
・Long-term stays must be booked in semester units (three months at a time). The price includes utilities such as electricity, water, gas, and internet.

Admission Procedures
Admission Criteria
- Those who have graduated with at least 12 years of education or equivalent by the course starting date. However, if you are 18 or older and have a high school diploma, you may be eligible for admission even if you have less than 12
years of schooling. - Under the age of 55.
- Have motivation to study.
- Have financial support while studying in Japan, or ability to pay expenses during the study abroad period.

- Health Status Declaration (form provided by ISI)
- 2 ID photos (size 4×3 cm) ※Certificate photos can be submitted as data

- Graduation Diploma or Certificate of final academic background (copy)
- Proof of Enrollment or Certificate of expected graduation (copy) (Only for applicants who are currently enrolled in school at the time of application)
- JLPT Certificate (copy) (Only if applicable)
- Japanese Language Study Certificate (Only if applicable)

Application Procedure

- STEP 8COE and Letter of Admission will be sent to your address in your home country by ISI.
